Vocal Coach Carol Piro

As a seasoned performing vocalist, Carol has developed several music projects over the years in which she’s adeptly delivered both lead and backing harmonies. Her bands have ranged in genres including pop, R&B, blues, rock, classic and swing jazz, world and soul. Carol’s fans most appreciate her deeply soulful expression and comfortable stage presence.

Immersed in music since childhood, Carol’s father inspired her musicality with his vivacious singing and playing on the cordovox at holiday gatherings to enthusiastic family and friends. Her vocal career began in high school as a member of the all-school choir, madrigal ensemble, regional choir and theater productions.

Her original band, Third Sister, formed in 1996, opened on and shared stages with American Idol’s Bo Bice, GE Smith of The Saturday Night Live Band, Rick Derringer, Renee Austin, and The Chicago Blues Project at BB Kings NYC with Murali Coryell. In 2000, the band received the Connecticut Gold Coast award for top band and in 2001 released an original album.

In 2019, she toured the country with her music healing program, as well as her world-soul musical duo act, Christian & Carolina.

Having joined the Voicercise team of vocal coaches in 2022, Carol is passionate about helping her clients own the power of their voice so they can reclaim their confidence in expressing themselves artistically and authentically.
