Ever cracked on a high note and instantly wished you could disappear? Voice Cracks are one of the top things singers talk to us about and trust us, we’ve all been there.

Voice Cracks

You’re vibing, singing your favorite song and then boom, the song goes up and your confidence goes down. That one high note is coming, and suddenly your brain is screaming, “What if I crack?!”

Voice cracks can mess with even the boldest singer’s confidence. And the truth is, high notes take work. A lot more vocal cord vibration and a lot more control are needed, and if your other singing muscles aren’t pitching in, things can fall apart really fast.

But here’s the deal: avoiding high notes won’t help. 😩

You’ve got to train for them, just like a runner trains for a hill sprint. The less you sing high notes the more you can expect voice cracks the next time you muster up the courage to try! WHY? Because the less you use your vocal cords the weaker and weaker they become! No muscles that are not being used are getting stronger. So braving though strengthening your vocals cords is an absolute MUST if you wish to get rid of the cracks for good.

💡Voice Cracks Here are some quick tips to tackle high notes (without the cracks):

🎤Voice Cracks Stay hydrated – Dry vocal cords are way more likely to crack.

🎤Voice Cracks Skip soda and caffeine before singing. Try warm chamomile or peppermint tea instead.

🎤Voice Cracks Add a lift before going for the note.

Cracking Sing the note a little louder than you think, don’t hold back.

High notes And most importantly, don’t let fear shrink your range. You’re not a high note scaredy-cat. 😄

With practice and the right technique (like what we teach at Voicercise ), you’ll hit those notes with power and confidence.

🎶 Sing fearlessly. We’re rooting for you!
